According to an update issued by the Flames this morning T.J. Brodie is at home, resting and is doing well…all things considered.

The Flames defenceman was taken by stretcher from Flames practice yesterday after he collapsed on the ice. Brodie was released from the hospital last night and was resting at home.

Doctor's ran a battery of test on Brodie and according to the Flames feel this may have more been a fainting issue than anything to due with Brodie's brain. Still, doctors will continue to monitor his healthy and out of an abundance of caution and common sense, Brodie will not be traveling with the team to Arizona and Vegas this weekend. Calgary also has no timetable in regards to when T.J. Brodie will rejoin the team, as all parties involved will be monitoring his recovery.

Calgary has recalled Oliver Kylington from Stockton in Brodie's absence.
