The Morning After
Recap - RTF - NHL Standings
Tidbits
-800 Club: Michael Frolik played in his 800th career NHL game last night. It’s rare to celebrate milstone, but he also helped the Flames to victory. Frolik scored his first goal of the season as well.
-N-OT: The Flames and Flyers have a flair for the dramatic as they have had last second regulation goals lead to overtime theatrics. Three of the last four games between these two have gone to overtime, with Calgary winning all three. No dice last night as the Flames held on in regulation.
-Hockey East Flavor: Last night’s game featured a who’s who from Hockey East. Johnny Gaudreau, Kevin Hayes, Mark Jankowski and Noah Hanifin all came up in the NCAA’s best hockey conference and are having varied degrees of success as pros.
