The Morning After Dallas
Calgary Flames 3 - Dallas Stars 2 (SO)
Recap - RTF - NHL Standings
Tidbits
-Hard To Believe: Watching that Dallas PP operate it’s hard to believe they came into last night without a PPG on the young season. Before scoring their first of the season against the Flames, Dallas was 0-10 with the man advantage.
-FINALLY An Extra Time Win: The Flames SO win was a rare feat for this team as they haven’t been gifted anything by the hockey gods beyond regulation in a while. You’d have to go all the way back to January 22nd of last season when they beat Carolina 3-2 in overtime.
-7th Time’s A Charm: The Flames were also able to get the Dallas monkey off their backs as well. Calgary had dropped 6 straight to the Stars coming into Thursday night’s game.
