Calgary Flames 4 - Boston Bruins 6
Another trip to Boston, another “L” for the Flames. Calgary dropped a 6-4 decision to the Bruins in a game that Calgary should have won. Back to back games are never easy, but Calgary got the early jump on Boston and it looked like they might have a successful visit to TD Garden. Nope. Here’s the rest of the best of what wasn’t covered in our Recap.
Tidbits
-Two More Points: Johnny Gaudreau had a goal and an assist last night, upping his point total to 61. That was the 8th time in 11 games he’s had a point and the 18th time overall he’s had a multi point game this season.
-Boston’s Not His Cup Of Tea: Mike Smith took the loss last night and it’s a familiar feeling for the goaltender when he sees the Black and Gold. Over the course of his NHL career Smith is 5-17-0 when facing the B’s.
-Shipping Out Of Boston: The Flames are not the best when they come to the Hub. Calgary is 3-7-0 in their last 10 visits to TD Garden.
