Calgary Flames 5 - Detroit Red Wings 3
For a bit there the Detroit Red Wings didn’t look like a team ready to lose their 6th straight game, but a fluke T.J. Brodie goal and all of a sudden the Flames had some momentum and they walked away with a 5-3 victory Wednesday night. Here’s the rest of the best of what wasn’t covered in our recap.
Tidbits
-Fours: Johnny Gaudreau had his fourth 4 pt game of the season which ties him with Matthew Tkachuk for the most in the NHL in 2018-19.
-Gaudreau On Fire: Johnny Gaudreau had back to back four point nights, the third Flames player to do so in franchise history. He has 14 points in his last six games.
-Lindholm Breakin’ Records: Elias Lindholm scored his 18th goal on Monday night, which was a career high for the centre. His three point effort on Wednesday allowed him to surpass his career high in points of 44 with 47.
