The Calgary Flames made a few roster moves as they head into their prolonged break. Juuso Valimaki and Andrew Mangiapane were both optioned to Stockton this morning.

In the end this isn't a big deal as it allows both players to get some playing time while the NHL is on break.
Valimaki could spend more time there as he's coming back from injury and he may be better off just spending the season in Stockton to get back on his feet.
Andrew Mangiapane has been up and down and by that we mean transaction wise. He hasn't done much while with the Flames and he could also benefit from some time in the AHL.
