Gaudreau The Lone Flame Headed To All-Star Game

Flames superstar winger Johnny Gaudreau has been named to the 2019 NHL All-Star Game squad as a member of the Pacific Division team. He is now five-for-five for career ASG invites. Gaudreau has racked up 55 points in 41 games this season, and is the only Flames player sit in the top ten in league scoring.

Conspicuous by his absence is Calgary’s Norris trophy candidate captain, Mark Giordano, but as the host team the San Jose Sharks have sent two defensemen in Karlsson and Burns, while LA’s Drew Doughty rounds out the blue line corps from the division. Giordano is however Calgary’s option on the Last Man In ballot so make sure you vote!
