The Calgary Flames extended their winning streak to five games on Sunday night with a 7-1 thrashing of the Arizona Coyotes. After a back and forth opening ten minutes, Mark Giordano and Sean Monahan netted goals in quick succession and the Flames took off from there.
When it was all said and done, Giordano would have 2 goals and an assist, Matthew Tkachuk would have two goals, and Johnny Gaudreau and Sam Bennett would each register a goal for the Flames.
