Calgary Flames 8 - San Jose Sharks 5
That’s not a bad way to end 2018! The Flames stomped the San Jose Sharks Monday night by the score of 8-5. The Flames top line of Monahan/Gaudreau/Lindholm combined for 12 points and the newly reunited 3M Line had 8 points. Calgary is still atop the Pacific Division and the two points they earned from the victory have them tied for first in the West with the Winnipeg Jets. Here’s the rest of the best that wasn’t covered in our Recap or Rate The Flames.
Tidbits
-200: Michael Frolik had 2 assists last night, the first getting him his 200th career assist.
-Best Of 5: Sean Monahan had five assists last night. The five point night is the best of his career.
-Another Career High: Elias Lindholm scored his 18th goal of the season, that as well is a career high.
