Flames Give Logan Shaw PTO

The NHL vet will join the Flames on a professional tryout.

Whether he’s here just as a body in camp or getting an honest look, the Flames have invited Logan Shaw to Calgary for a PTO.

Shaw joins a very deep core of forwards who he will have to beat out if he intends to make the team. The addition of Shaw to the camp roster shouldn’t be that jarring as teams always add players to see what they have and if they are a good fit.

Shaw finished last season in Montreal with the Canadiens after being put on waivers by Anaheim in 2018. In a combined 72 games last season with the Ducks and Canadiens, Shaw had 4 goals and 10 assists. Prior to that he spent one season with the Florida Panthers.
