The dominoes have started to fall on the Flames lengthy list of pending RFA business this summer, the first being left winger Morgan Klimchuk.

Klimchuk has been locked in on a two-way deal for one year at a $700,000 price tag. A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, he was a 28th overall first round pick of the Flames at the 2013 entry draft. He’s only played one game at the NHL level since being drafted, suiting up against the Boston Bruins this past season. Keep an eye on our upcoming Top 25 Under 25 columns to see where the 23 year old winds up in the rankings.

Still to come in the Restricted Free Agent department for the Flames are Brett Kulak, Hunter Shinkaruk, Mark Jankowski, Garnet Hathaway, goaltenders Jon Gillies and David Rittich, and new acquisitions Elias Lindholm and Noah Hanifin.
