Calgary Flames 7 Vegas Golden Knights 1
Hey, if you’re going to go out, go out with a bang! The Flames took a season’s worth of frustration out on the Vegas Golden Knights and THUMPED the Pacific Division Champions by the score of 7-1. Mark Jankowski closed out a successful rookie season by scoring 4 times and Johnny Gaudreau collected his 60th assist on the season.
We’re going to do something different to recap this one: we’re just giving you the highlights because watching all the goals is going to be more satisfying than reading what I have to say.

Final Thoughts
Calgary gave the home crowd something to cheer about with their complete dismantling of a playoff team in their final game of the season. Jon Gillies was strong in net and a final start for him makes you wonder if he’s getting playing time, being showcased or a little of both. Either way, he was strong in the Flames win and that’s a good sign for all involved.
