The Morning After San Jose

Another day, another loss.

NHL: Calgary Flames at San Jose Sharks Andrew Villa-USA TODAY Sports

Here’s the rest of the best of what wasn’t covered in the Recap from Calgary’s 5-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks.

5 In A Row

The Flames are closing out this season with 5 straight losses. I guess if you’re going to fall apart and not make the playoffs you might as well go out in spectacular fashion.

Can’t Stop Puck

Whether it’s bad goaltending or the defence not showing up the Flames can’t stop the puck. Calgary gave up 5 last night in San Jose, which is the 6th loss in a row where they’ve given up more than 4 goals.

Evander Kane

The Flames better hope San Jose doesn’t work out a deal with Evander Kane. The UFA has 6 goals against the Flames since joining the Sharks. His 2 tallies last night gave him 6 in 3 games against Calgary this season.

Speaking Of Goals

Calgary has 5 goals in their last 5 games.
