The minute the Flames gave up 2 goals in the span of 28 seconds you knew it wasn’t the Flames night. Mike Smith returned to the Flames crease after almost a month off and the results were mixed. As has been the case with the Flames at times they were a mix of soft goals, bad defence and no killer instinct on the power play. At least the Western Conference schedule was light tonight.
