New, comments

Projected Lines

Hey Sam Bennett, you’ve been playing really well lately, so we’re going to send you back to the 3rd line and replace you with a guy we just traded for who has 1 point in his last 15 games! Seriously, newly acquired Chris Stewart is taking Sam Bennett’s place on the top line with Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan. Bennett’s game had stepped up since being promoted to the top line where he has 2 points in his last 2 games. Whether this is a “welcome to the team” type scenario and Bennett moves back up after a shift or two, who knows because this is a Glen Gulutzan move after-all. There is only WC positioning at stake here against Dallas. Minor details.

Jon Gillies will get his 3rd straight start in net after leading the Flames to 2 straight victories where he’s stopped 63 of the 66 shots that have come his way. Good news is it appears if you win, you are in.

Here’s the rest of the Flames projected lines for tonight’s contest.
