Flames Trade For Ottawa’s Nick Shore

Calgary added some depth to their bottom 6 as a result of the trade.

According to multiple sources the Flames have added Ottawa Senators centre Nick Shore to their roster this afternoon. Calgary will send a 2019 7th round pick to Ottawa in exchange for the 25 year old winger.

Shore has split time this season with the Kings and Senators. In 49 games with the Kings Shore had 4 goals and 11 assists. He only skated with Ottawa in 6 games and collected 1 assist. The move gives Calgary some extra depth to their bottom six while they await Kris Versteeg’s return.
