Florida Panthers at Calgary Flames [Game 60]

Published

on

The Calgary Flames are finally back at ScotiaBank Saddledome as they take on the Florida Panthers. Both teams are hunting for the playoffs and need a win. Both teams will take the two points any way they can in this interconference game.

Roberto Luongo is returning for the Panthers tonight. He's been out for two months and the Panthers have had arguably the league's worst goaltending without him. Given his return and the emotional situation going on in Florida after the most recent high school massacre, they'll be heading into this one with plenty of emotion.

David Rittich will be in net for the Flames tonight. Mike Smith is still out and Jon Gillies will serve as the backup. Smith should be good to go soon – don't expect Gillies to make it into any games this go around.

Puck drop is at 8:05 P.M. M.S.T. The Flames get the Hockey Night in Canada treatment in the weirdest possible matchup for it.
