Matthew Tkachuk and his 2 third period goals got the Flames a 3-2 victory in Brooklyn tonight over the NY Islanders. However, the big story will be Mike Smith and what he hurt and how long he will be sidelined. The Flames MVP made a game saving stop on John Tavares, but appeared to hurt his groin or hip. Smith left the contest with 1 second left and was replaced by David Rittich.
