Tired was the theme of Sunday night’s game against the Edmonton Oilers. In their third game in four nights, the Flames were unable to really get anything going against a stifling Ken Hitchock defense and the Oilers got one goal to win 1-0. The Flames were in it, but cold never turn their opportunities into goals, and just couldn’t break through. As a result the winning streak was snapped at five games.
There’s not a ton to say about this game, but the rest will be covered in the recap which should be up shortly.
