The Calgary Flames threw out a their first stinker performance in quite some time as they fell 2-0 to the Dallas Stars on Tuesday.

The Stars dominated the opening fourty minutes of play and were able to get goals from Jamie Benn and Radek Faksa to go ahead 2-0. The Flames pushed back in the third but still couldn’t generate many dangerous scoring chances.

Overall the Flames were in total disarray, but games like this will happen over the course of an 82 game season, so it’s not worth losing sleep over. Next up is a massive game with Tampa Bay on Thursday.
