Calgary Flames 2 Anaheim Ducks 3
Welp, the winning streak is over at 4 games and the Ducks did what they do best: beat the Flames in Anaheim. Calgary mounted a 3rd period comeback, but that was sniffed out by a Ryan Getzlaf goal shortly after the Flames tied the game at 2-2. Here's the rest of the best that wasn't covered in the recap or Rate The Flames.
Tidbits
-3rd Still Good: Calgary scored another third period goal last night, upping their total in the final frame to 29 goals on the season. Maybe score some more early and this won't be an issue?
-Grrrrr...Geztlaf: Ryan Getzlaf scored the game winning goal last night and it was also his 250th goal of his career. Hooray, good for you Getzlaf.
-Janko Makes The Score Sheet: Mark Jankowski scored the game tying goal on a beautiful wrist shot. Seems odd that it would be his first of the season, but it was.
