Calgary is well rested and they are going to need it as they embark on a 3 game trip through California, starting with the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night. No longer will streaks about Honda Center be written about as the Flames exorcised those demons last season and the Ducks aren’t the Ducks of old.

Anaheim started this season red hot, winning 5 out of their first 7, but things are no longer magical in Anaheim. Calgary meanwhile is the exact opposite of Anaheim right now: good. The Flames are currently enjoying a 4 game winning streak and doing it the dramatic way. The Flames top line is really clicking with Johnny Gaudreau in the Top in both points (19) and assists (13). So all in all, things are looking up for the Flames as they begin their 3 game trek through California.
