Calgary Flames 3 Dallas Stars 4 (OT)
The Flames were able to secure 1 point in last night’s OT loss to the Dallas Stars, but they are probably kicking themselves for not getting 2. A bad clearing attempt and a potential goalie interference no call lead to Tyler Seguin burying the game winner in under a minute in the extra frame. Here’s the rest of the best of what wasn’t covered in the recap or Rate The Flames.
Tidbits
-Still In First: The Flames secured 1 point last night, giving them 30 on the season. That 30 puts them 1 point ahead of San Jose in the Pacific Division.
-Undefeated No More: The Flames are no longer undefeated in overtime. Calgary was 2-0 coming into last night’s extra session.
-Weak Sauce PP: Calgary was 1-5 on the PP last night. While that is bad, the SOG during the man advantage was worse. The Flames put 6 shots on goal while man up, scoring only once.
