Calgary didn’t come to play

The Flames turned in one of their poorest performances of the season in a 2-0 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. It’s the first time the Flames have been shut out this year.

Calgary was simply not good enough to beat a motivated Vegas team who were still angry after the spanking the Flames gave them earlier in the week. The few really good chances the Flames had were turned away by Marc-Andre Fleury.

David Rittich had a solid game in the Flames net, but got no run support.
