7’s and 4’s are a thing with the Flames and Golden Knights.

Calgary Flames 7 Vegas Golden Knights 2

Well, we don’t think anyone saw that coming, but we think everyone will take it! The Flames took it to the Golden Knights early and often, winning their 2nd in a row and their first against Vegas on the season. Here’s the rest of the best of what wasn’t covered in the recap or Rate The Flames.

Tidbits

-FIRST! WE GOT A FIRST!: T.J. Brodie got the monkey off his back and scored his 1st goal of the season at 13:52 of the first period.

-4’s Around: Johnny Gaudreau had a 4 point night (1G 3A) and Matthew Tkachuk had a 4 pointer as well (2G 2A). The 4 for Gaudreau ties his career high and Tkachuk’s 4 was a career high for him as well.

-7’s Are Good: This is the second time the Flames put up 7 on Vegas in a row. The Flames dropped the Golden Knights 7-1 on April 7, 2018. So if you’re scoring at home, Calgary has outscored Vegas 14-3 over the last 2 games they’ve played.
