Calgary opened their road trip with a 3-0 victory over the Nashville Predators. Mike Smith starred with a 42 save shutout while Sean Monahan tallied twice. Elias Lindholm provided the other goal with Johnny Gaudreau picking up three assists. The powerplay continued to click, scoring twice.
