After going scoreless in the first two periods, the Calgary Flames roared to life with a PP goal (what) and another shortly after to grab a 2-0 lead. Sean Monahan got the first on a rebound in front, while Elias Lindholm got the other. Nazem Kadri got the Leafs within one late, but they couldn’t tie it, despite some almost net voodoo. Michael Frolik sealed it with an empty netter.
