Sportsnet960 Announces New Broadcasting Deal For Calgary’s CWHL Squad
The Calgary Inferno have entered a new broadcasting partnership with Calgary’s sports radio authority, Sportsnet 960 The Fan. The AM radio station will carry live play-by-play action of four Inferno home games this season. Sportsnet will officially be the first commerical radio station in North America to carry live CWHL game action. They’ll will also be introducing a half hour program airing Saturdays at 10AM that will focus on Inferno stories and women’s hockey. Broadcaster Sandra Prusina has been assigned hosting duties for the weekly show and will be calling the play-by-play action for the live games.
