How ‘bout them Flames?! Calgary got their second win in a row, a 3-0 blanking of the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night. Calgary got timely offence and stellar goaltending from Mike Smith to spoil Nashville’s home opener. Here’s the rest of the best of what wasn’t covered in the Recap and Rate The Flames.

-Shut ‘Em Down: Mike Smith stopped all 43 shots he faced tonight earning his 37th career shutout.

-2 In A Row: Johnny Gaudreau had another 3 point night, that’s back to back 3 pointers for the Flames star forward. Not to be outdone, Sean Monahan had his 2nd straight multi point game as well. It’s safe to say that the Flames top line is in mid season form 3 games in.
