Don Maloney Named Flames VP of Hockey Operations

The Flames made some front office moves this afternoon.

The Flames keep making moves, but today it pertained to the hockey operations side of the business. Brad Treliving and the Flames announced that Don Maloney will become the new VP of Hockey Operations in Calgary.

According to the Flames, Maloney will still report to Brad Treliving on daily matters with Calgary. Maloney joined the Flames in 2016 as a scout and previously was the GM of the Arizona Coyotes.

In addition to Maloney being promoted, Craig Conroy and Brad Pascall were re-signed to their Assistant GM positions as well and they gave new titles or names to 4 other front office members: Derek MacKinnon, Rob Sumner, Fred Parker and Chris Snow.
