In a not so shocking move, the Las Vegas Golden Knights selected Flames defenceman Deryk Engelland in the expansion draft. The selection ends a short, but quality run for Engelland with the Flames. Over the 3 seasons he spent in Calgary, Engelland collected 86 points and 500 PIM.
