The way the Flames started this season it should be considered a success that they even made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Flames rode hot goaltending at times, a 19 year old rookie who’s going to be a star, more “Michael’s” than you can shake a stick at and Sean Monahan emerged as Calgary’s leader in the playoffs. Despite being swept by the Ducks in round one, the Flames showed promise and the future looks brighter than it did way back in October.
