Stockton Sunday: Kostka’s Solid Week

Mike Kostka has the Flames winning the Lazar trade so far

Heading into this past week, the Heat knew they had a very tough schedule featuring four games against the top three teams in the Western Conference.

Stockton did alright going 2-2 and falling a little more behind the Bakersfield Condors who they’re battling for the final playoff spot in the conference.

The Condors currently have 0.544 points percentage while Stockton has a 0.517 points percentage. The teams are separated by only 3 points with 11 games to go.

Mike Kostka has had a great debut with the Heat since being part of the Lazar trade. In five games he has 2 goals, 5 assists is a +5. This is compared to the 1 goal, 12 assists, and a staggering -33 he had with Ottawa’s AHL team in 46 games.

With the Flames not playing Lazar in the NHL, and Jokipakka yet to suit up for the Sens organization, we give the early edge to Calgary in the deal.
