Calgary Flames at New Jersey Devils (Game 54)

The Calgary Flames take back to the ice to take on the New Jersey Devils. The Devils can somehow sweep this series tonight and that's an embarrassment nobody should have to endure. Hopefully they can come out and play with some fire (pun intended) and pick up a much needed victory.

Garnet Hathaway practiced tonight, but still won't go tonight. The forwards for tonight look the same as they have recently. Expect Hathaway to get a game in sometime during the road trip.

Brett Kulak is in, Jyrki Jokipakka is out, and life is grand. The defense is about as good as it will get, though it would be nice to displace Dennis Wideman. That doesn't appear to be coming soon though.

Brian Elliott gets the start tonight. Chad Johnson has probably lost his job as the starter as the Flames buy into the "hot hand" methodology. Hopefully Elliott continues to thrive.

Go Flames go!

EDIT: Jokipakka is playing for Kulak because we can't have nice things.
