Philadelphia Flyers at Calgary Flames [Game 58]

No dud please

Fresh off of a dud of a game out of the Calgary Flames bye that we won’t even speak of, the team looks to right the ship against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers and Flames have much in common, both are rather enigmatic bubble teams with plenty of questions going forward. One might call the Flyers Flames east.

The only real line up change to speak of is Lance Bouma returning for Garnet Hathaway. There’s not much to make of there – both are bad players that would not play for good teams. Dennis Wideman is still anchored to poor T.J. Brodie. Or not, they changed it up. Brodie is now with Deryk Engelland.

Brian Elliott gets the start tonight. Chad Johnson was not good the last time out. Glen Gulutzan doesn’t seem to have a starter right now, but Elliott has picked up more steam as of late. Hopefully he can get the Flames back into the win column tonight against the Flyers.
