Calgary Flames at Winnipeg Jets [Game 43]

Published

on

After ending the suddenly mighty (RE: flukey) Vancouver Canucks win streak, the Calgary Flames hit the road to take on the considerably less impressive Winnipeg Jets. The Jets are below NHL .500 and represent a good chance to pick up two much needed points. They'll look to capitalize tonight.

There are no changes to the lineup. Brett Kulak was recalled earlier today, but it's a bit early to throw him back in the lineup. Tyler Wotherspoon got the demotion.

Chad Johnson is back in net after quite the stellar performance to kill off Vancouver's win streak. Brian Elliott had one of the season's most abhorrent performances one one day earlier and it will be interesting to see if Johnson gets an earlier leash now. Elliott had seemed to regain some favour before his last game, but ultimately has had a rather ugly season. One of them probably won't be with the team next season an it's looking like Elliott won't be in Calgary.
