USA Defeats Canada 5-4 In Gold Medal Game

It took a shoot out, but Troy Terry played the hero again for the US as they defeat Canada to win the WJC 2017 gold medal.

Wow. What a game that was. The United States came back from down 2 goals two different times and got a 46 save performance from Tyler Parsons to beat Team Canada 5-4 in a shoot out. The US team got 2 huge goals from Kieffer Bellows in regulation and Flames prospect Adam Fox had 3 assists to lead the team to victory. Overtime settled nothing and it took a shoot out where Tyler Parsons came up with big save after big save and America’s shoot out hero, Tyler Terry scored the only goal to get America it’s first gold medal at the WJC in 3 years.
