Jyrki Jokipakka and Team Finland found themselves shut out by Team Russia on Thursday 3-0. That loss leaves Finland out of semi finals and Jokipakka now can head to Calgary to begin the 2016-17 training camp. The Czech Republic found themselves matched up with Team USA and defeated the Americans 4-3. Neither Team USA or the Czech Republic had a chance to make the semi’s, so now Michael Frolik can head to Calgary and Jakub Nakladal now plays the “wait and see” game when it comes to a contract. Here’s how Jokipakka, Frolik and Nakladal played yesterday.
