With Mikael Backlund out with what may be a concussion, Johnny Gaudreau was the only member of the Calgary Flames skating yesterday at the WCOH. Team North America and Gaudreau took on the Backlund-less Team Sweden and defeated the Swedes 4-3 in OT. Gaudreau was all over the ice yesterday grabbing a penalty shot, a goal, an assist and a key stolen puck to set up the game winner in OT. Here’s Gaudreau’s stat line from yesterday and his totals so far.
