There were 2 games played in the World Cup Of Hockey yesterday and only 1 game involved any members of the Calgary Flames. Team Sweden shut out Team Finland 2-0. Mikael Backlund and Jyrki Jokipakka were the lone participants for the Flames during yesterday’s action. Backlund lost a little ice time as compared to his ice time in Sweden’s first game and the good news for Jokipakka is he finally got on the ice for Finland after being a healthy scratch in their first game. Here’s their stat line from yesterday and the tournament as a whole.
