It was a pretty quiet week for the Adirondack Thunder (ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames).
The Thunder signed Forward Gunnar Hughes for a second season. Hughes scored 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points in 64 games last season.
Also, due to revised timing of the Manchester Monarchs’ training camp and access to players, their two pre-season games against the Thunder have been cancelled. Those two games were the only pre-season games the Thunder had scheduled and due to other teams already being booked, the Thunder will not play any pre-season games this season.
The Thunder will open the season with two games against the Monarchs in Manchester on October 14th & 15th.
