#23: Adam Fox

Position: D

Age: 18

Team: Harvard University (NCAA)

Drafted: 2016 #66 (Round 3)

Adam Fox is one of Calgary’s most recent draft picks having been taken in the 3rd round of the 2016 NHL Draft. Fox is a defenceman, but he’s on the smaller side. At 5’10 and 185 lbs he’s got some bulk to put on. The good news is he’s only 18 and is heading off to Harvard University this fall. Fox should have plenty of time to bulk up a little and work on his craft while at Harvard. Fox had an impressive run in the World Junior’s with Team USA’s U18 team getting 8 helpers and 1 goal in 7 games. In extended play with U17 and U18 teams, Fox has shown the potential to be a puck moving defenceman that can score at will.
