As you can see by just looking at his stats, Tim Harrison has only a small sample size to look at when trying to see where he's been and what he's done. Harrison returns as a Senior to a Colgate team that finished last season an abysmal 11-24-2 in the NCAA's ECAC Conference. Harrison was 5th on the Raiders in points last season (17), 19 behind team leader Tyson Spink. Harrison did fare well when playing in conference where he was 3rd on the team with 12 points in 21 games. The downside of that stat is that when playing out of the ECAC he only collected 5 more points. The thing that Harrison does have going for him is that his point totals are trending upwards as his career at Colgate progresses (he had 5 points in their last 6 games and won the team’s Whit Williams Award given to the most improved player throughout the season) . In his first 3 years he's steadily gone from 5 to 11 to 17. So if the trend continues he'd up his total again by 6 giving himself 23 for his senior season. Not bad, not great. Hockey's Future has him rating out as a D in it's Probability of Success Scale. Are those scales accurate? Only time will tell, but the Flames are loading up with wingers and if Harrison wants to make an impact or impress the Flames he needs to do it sooner than later.
Harrison did participate in the 2016 Developmental Camp, playing for Team 2 with fellow NCAA prospect Brandon Hickey.
Colgate and Harrison open up their 2016-17 season at home on October 1 against Army West Point. For more info on Colgate Raiders Hockey click here.
