The Flames will once again be participating in the Young Stars Classic in September, their 6th time overall.

The tournament pits some of the games young prospects against each other in a round robin tournament. The Flames will be joined in this tournament by the Winnipeg Jets, Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks. The tournament runs September 16-19th. The Flames haven't announced their roster for the the Young Stars Classic, but they expect to release the lineup before the tournament starts.
