It may seem like you just read this game preview. And you did, a mere 6 days ago to be exact. The Flames were shut out by the Kings 3-0 back on March 31st in a game that the Flames got down early and never recovered. This is the 4th and final meeting of the two teams and the Flames have yet to post a "W" in the win column against LA. Calgary is 0-3 so far in this campaign and are being outscored 9-2 by the Kings. Not exactly a recipe for success. Little has changed in the 1 game since both teams met in LA. The Kings are still in the playoffs and the Flames still are not. A win here would be nice, as to avoid the season sweep at the hands of their Pacific Division rivals in the first of Calgary's last 2 home games for the year. Here's how the teams match-up:

Calgary Flames LA Kings
33-40-6 Record 46-28-5

11th West Conference 4th West

24th (16.5%) PP 9th (20.5%)
30th (74.5%) PK 16th (81.1%)

The Flames last played on Saturday night in their final game ever at Rexall Place against the Oilers and won 5-0. The road team came in and absolutely crushed the home team from start to finish. Mikael Backlund and Johnny Gaudreau each scored twice and Joni Ortio played magnificent in earning the shut out. Here’s the highlights:

The Kings last played on Monday night and dropped their second in a row, this one to Vancouver 3-2. Tyler Toffoli and Kyle Clifford each scored for the Kings, but it wasn’t enough. Jonathan Quick stopped 21 of 24 shots, but 2 second period goals ended up sinking the Kings. Here’s the highlights:
