The Flames take on the Nashville Predators tonight in game 2 of their 6 game home stand. Calgary and Nashville last played on January 27th with the Pred's coming out on top 2-1, which coincidentally has been the score of both games they've played this season. The last time these two met will be remembered less for the score and more for Dennis Wideman's hit on NHL Linesman Don Henderson. Nashville comes into this game hot. They've won 8 out of their last 10, while Calgary has dropped 8 out of their last 10.  Two teams, two different directions, but the Flames do play well against the Predators in the Dome where they have a 16-12-3 record and are a half goal better than Nashville scoring an average of 3 goals at home. Calgary swept the season series last year and win tonight would give the Flames their second straight season series win over the Predators. Here's how both teams match-up:

Calgary last played Monday night against the Sharks and lost in OT 2-1. Joni Ortio again was robbed of a win and lost his 3rd 2-1 game of the season. Calgary fired 48 shots at Martin Jones, but were only able to solve him in the last minute of the game on a Joe Colborne tip in. Here's the highlights:

The Predators last took to the ice on Tuesday night and won their second straight game with a 4-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets. Craig Smith scored his 17th and 18th goals of the season and Pekka Rinne stopped 21 of 23 shots to earn the victory. Here's the highlights:
