Calgary Flames @ Anaheim Ducks, 10 PM ET, Honda Center, Anaheim CA
Broadcast Schedule |
TV: RSN, FSW |
Radio: Sportsnet 960 The Fan |
2006. That's the last time the Flames won a game in Anaheim. Since 2006 the Flames are an unthinkable 0-20 at the Honda Center. Some kids have a boogey man in their closet or under their bed. The Flames boogey man lives in Anaheim CA and it doesn't matter who's on that Ducks roster. It's a nightmare either way and on paper, tonight doesn't look much better. Anaheim has outscored the Flames 17-9 and lead season series 4-0. Not helping is Calgary's last place penalty kill goes up against the league's best power play. The Flames have also given up the most goals against this season while, surprise, the Ducks have given up the least amount of goals in the NHL this season. And let's not forget that Johnny Gaudreau, Jykri Jokipakka and Josh Jooris are still listed as Day to Day with various injuries. It all adds up to a continued nightmare for the Flames in sunny California, but as they say, that's why they play the games. The good news? The Flames don't play Anaheim again this season. There has to be some good news right? Here's how the teams match-up:
