Breaking: Wideman suspension reduced

An independent arbiter reduced Dennis Wideman’s suspension from 20 games to 10 this afternoon. The timing is interesting seeing he’s already served 19 of the original 20 game suspension. Wideman was shown skating during Sportsnet’s broadcast of the Flames and Predators, so it’s unknown if he will join the team in time for tonight’s game at home against Arizona.
