Wideman appeal hearing set

Thursday and Friday. Those are the 2 days this week that Dennis Wideman and the NHLPA will plead their case in front of an independent arbiter in NYC. Gary Bettman and the NHL recently upheld the defenceman's 20 game suspension for cross checking linesman Don Henderson. Wideman has already served 10 of the 20 games and reports are suggesting that he could even be reimbursed for the time he's been out if the suspension is overturned.
