The Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks have been trade partners for a second time in 2 years. This time around the Flames have traded centre Markus Granlund to Vancouver for forward Hunter Shinkaruk.

This season Granlund has appeared in 31 games and has 7 points (4 goals, 3 assists) for the Flames. Shinkaruk has appeared in only 1 game this season with the Canucks and has no points.
The trade deadline is fast approaching and if this any indication, the Flames could be very active in the coming weeks.
